PRMIA adds Shanghai chapter
The Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA) has added a 25th chapter, in Shanghai, China. Hu Bingxing, senior risk manager with China Guotai Fund Management, is regional director of the new chapter.
David Koenig, chair of the interim board of directors for PRMIA, said the association should have five more chapters added in the next month. Koenig said the Global Association of Risk Professionals, the pre-eminent professional risk management association before allegations of impropriety caused many members to resign and form PRMIA in January, had a China chapter, but that it was largely inactive.Bingxing studied at both Fudan University in China and Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK.
